There may be multiple reasons why gasoline generators cannot start, including:
Insufficient fuel. Ensure that there is enough gasoline in the fuel tank.
The battery voltage is insufficient. Check if the battery voltage is sufficient. If the battery voltage is too low, it will not provide enough speed and torque to start the engine.
Mechanical malfunction. If there is a malfunction in the spark plug or ignition coil, these components are crucial during the starting process, and if they fail, they will not ignite properly.
Oil and gasoline lose their stickiness. The shelf life of engine oil and gasoline is generally around three months. If they are used for more than three months, they may have lost their stickiness, causing them to fail to start normally.
Spark plug carbon buildup or dirty air filter. These factors can lead to insufficient air, which in turn affects engine start-up.
Engine oil or gasoline evaporates. If the engine is not used for a long time, the oil or gasoline may have evaporated, resulting in insufficient purity and making ignition difficult.
The startup method is incorrect. Check if the oil switch can be opened, if the air door can be closed small during the first start-up of the refrigeration unit, and if the starting speed can be reached.
Spark plug high voltage line fault. Remove the high-voltage wire from the spark plug and conduct a fire test. If there is no spark or the spark is weak, it indicates that there is a fault in the magnetic motor or high-voltage wire.
The new machine has difficulty starting. New machines require a certain break in period, preferably starting 1-2 times a month.
When encountering a situation where a gasoline generator cannot start, the first thing to do is to remain calm and not dismantle it randomly. Quickly find the nearest repair point to investigate the cause of the malfunction, identify the fault point, and then replace the components accordingly.
