How to use the pipe cutter

The usage method of a pipe cutter usually includes the following steps:
Check and prepare. Ensure that the pipe is not bent, adjust the cutting range to fit the outer diameter of the pipe, fix the pipe on the bracket, adjust the bracket roller to the appropriate position, and rotate the neck ring to ensure that the pipe is horizontal.
Install and adjust the blade. Install the blade onto the cutting handle, ensure that the snap ring holds the blade in place, check the sharpness of the blade, and replace or sharpen it if necessary.
Cutting operation. Press the handle to make contact between the blade and the pipe wall, continue to rotate the handle to fix the cutting position, turn on the power, select the appropriate cutting speed, step on the foot switch to start cutting, keep the machine stable during cutting, and after cutting is completed, release the foot switch to stop the pipe from rotating. Rotate the handle counterclockwise 1-2 turns to release pressure.
Cleaning and maintenance. Clean the cutting area, check if the blades and cutters are worn or damaged, replace parts if necessary, clean the pipe cutter itself, and maintain its cleanliness and good condition.
In addition, safety precautions should be taken when using a pipe cutter, such as wearing protective gloves and glasses, avoiding contact between hands and other parts of the blade, using appropriate force and angle for cutting, avoiding overuse and load, and maintaining a stable posture during the cutting process.
